Our flagship Oxford Summer Program is a two-week residential camp at University of Oxford
premises that introduces students to the latest debates and developments in two subjects of their
choice. The program is delivered by the expert academics, tutors, lecturers, deans and teachers
associated with the University of Oxford. This ensures world-class teaching, use of
innovative learning methods and provides students invaluable experience at one of the
greatest centres of learning in the world. The Oxford Institute contracts with the University College,
Oxford for the use of living and academic facilities.
ABOUT OXFORD UNIVERSITY
The University of Oxford has produced a long list of world leaders, writers, thinkers, philosophers,
scientists and artists over the course of its history that stretches back to 1096 AD. At the Oxford
Summer Program, students will experience the academic and social life at University of Oxford and
follow the footsteps of various eminent personalities who have studied and lived at this historic
place. The following are just a few names of high-profile personalities associated with Oxford
University.
– Twenty-eight British prime ministers have attended Oxford.
– Oscar Wilde, J.R.R. Tolkien, T.S. Eliot and Lewis Carroll are some of the famous writers along
with philosophers John Locke, Jeremy Bentham and Thomas Hobbes who have been associated
with Oxford.
– Some of the scientists that Oxford produced include Stephen Hawking, Richard Dawkins and
Albert Einstein.
